General Purpose: General office and customer service duties in support of the SKYCTC Transpark Center faculty, staff, and student body.

This job pays $10.00 an hour and maximum of 20 hours per week.  You will report to your supervisor at the Transpark.

  • Attend front desk and assist with student needs
  • Answer the phone, take messages, or transfer as needed
  • Photocopy and file student, faculty, and staff record
  • Photocopy and file purchasing and other business documents
  • Create documents with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher) for staff and faculty
  • Photocopy, fax, and scan documents for faculty and students as needed
  • Create basic advising folders for SOAR
  • Maintain Employment Opportunity notification board and binder
  • Organize and exhibit new/ongoing and remove outdated college posters and advertising materials
  • Ensure college literature is available to students and visitors and displayed neatly
  • Retrieve and disseminate postal mail
  • Assist with set up and clean-up of events hosted by the Transpark
  • Additional duties as needed

Must have a completed FAFSA on file; have to be eligible for FWS; have to be enrolled in at least 6 (six) hours; and must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as defined by federal financial aid guidelines.

Special Qualifications:

Problem Solving: Problems are different, but tend to come up often.  Check with supervisor if none of the regularly established procedures fix the problem. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Has no authority for the supervision of others.

Oversight and Direction: Receives sufficient supervision working from objectives set by supervisor.  Organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practice, instructions or previous training.
