Associate Degree Nursing Adjunct Faculty

Part-time faculty are needed for selected day, evening, and weekend college classes at a variety of campus locations. Qualifications for faculty vary according to subject area.

Adjunct clinical faculty in the associate degree nursing program are responsible for facilitating clinical experiences in a variety of area healthcare facilities for not more than ten students at a time. Responsibilities also include acting as a liaison between the nursing program and the healthcare facility. Adjunct faculty are expected to participate in orientation activities and nursing faculty meetings related to the course.  

The current need is for adjunct faculty to facilitate learning of beginning nursing students. Faculty and students will spend the first half of the semester in the lab and in the long-term care setting followed with a transition to the acute care setting for the second half of the semester.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree with two years experience required. Master's degree preferred.
