Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College is seeking to hire a temporary/part-time Admissions Coordinator. This position provides clerical support to evaluate applications, enter admissions data, and share admissions decisions to serve the goal of recruiting, admitting, and enrolling a talented student body.
Job Duties:
• Provide support to the admissions department by processing applications and various forms related to students’ admission.
• Provide assistance to current and potential students, parents, school counselors, and other personnel regarding admissions policies and applications status.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma and one (1) year of relevant work experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates degree and two (2) years of relevant work experience are preferred.
Additional Skills Requested:
• Demonstrate working knowledge of computer systems and tools.
• Able to follow routine principles and guidelines.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
• Practice principles of listening, and clear written/verbal communication.
