Job Summary

Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College is seeking a Temporary / Part-Time Facilities Worker for the Cumberland Campus that performs general cleaning and maintains grounds for a clean and sanitary facilities for students, faculty, staff, and the general public. This position is for the day shift, working 3 days a week - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. (20 hours weekly).

Job Duties:

Employee is responsible for:

• Ground maintenance such as mowing, weed eating, edging, weeding flower beds, pressure washing sidewalks and buildings, snow removal and cleaning outdoor windows.

• Duties would be cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, sweeping and mopping classrooms, sweeping and mopping hallways, cleaning windows and door glass, cleaning eating areas, meeting rooms, vacuuming offices and labs, collecting indoor and outdoor trash in a safe manner, and other duties as assigned. Also help with special events such as setting up and taking down.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
