Job Summary

This position connects KCTCS colleges, regional employers, and community partners to guarantee Flextrain courses align with industry needs and workforce development goals. By encouraging strong relationships, identifying multiple training opportunities, and supporting course implementation, the Regional Project Manager helps businesses upskill their entire workforce efficiently and effectively.

This role supports KCTCS colleges through collaboration, innovation, and data-directed decision-making to provide customized training solutions, increase economic development, and forge pathways to success for Kentucky’s workforce. The Regional Project Manager leads particular sales efforts. This person also leads special facilitation efforts. Education and industry are guaranteed to work together to provide training that strengthens businesses, supports workers, and drives regional prosperity.

Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time

Job Duties:

Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Flextrain courses in collaboration with local Workforce Solutions teams. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase adoption and meet regional workforce training needs. Build relationships with employers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to understand and align training with workforce demands.

Client Relationship Management: Partner with Workforce Solutions staff, ensuring a seamless engagement process. Collaborate with project managers and employers to assess training needs, customize Flextrain solutions, and support program success. Facilitate client feedback for continuous improvement.

Project Facilitation and Implementation: Coordinate the delivery of Flextrain courses, ensuring timely execution and high-quality training experiences. Work closely with instructional designers, trainers, and subject matter experts to customize course content. Manage projects from open to close status at state and regional level.

Marketing and Outreach: Collaborate with Workforce Solutions marketing teams at local and system levels to develop and execute targeted promotional strategies for Flextrain. Work closely with Workforce Division staff to ensure alignment with broader workforce initiatives and employer engagement efforts. Representing KCTCS Workforce Solutions at community events. Provide insights into employer needs and regional workforce trends to help refine marketing approaches and maximize impact.

Data Management and Reporting – Track sales performance, client engagement, and implementation metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data in Salesforce.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Additional Skills Requested:

This role supports Flextrain, a computer-based hybrid training model designed to provide flexible, scalable workforce training solutions that meet the needs of employers and employees across Kentucky. The Regional Project Manager ensures these programs are effectively implemented and aligned with industry demands. The Regional Project Manager will work closely with local KCTCS Workforce Solutions teams to identify employer needs, coordinate training solutions, and support the successful execution of Flextrain programs. This position bridges colleges, businesses, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and impactful workforce development initiatives.

This position is regional and remote-friendly but will require occasional travel within Kentucky to meet with employers, Workforce Solutions teams, and community partners to drive engagement and promote Flextrain initiatives. This role is critical in strengthening employer relationships and expanding workforce training solutions that contribute to Kentucky's economic growth and job development..
