Adjunct nursing clinical instructors are responsible for facilitating clinical learning experiences in a variety of area healthcare facilities for no more than 10 nursing students at a time. Responsibilities include acting as a liaison between the nursing program and the healthcare facility.

Provide hands on clinical instruction and supervision of nursing students while in the clinical setting
Facilitate valuable learning experiences including use of the nursing process and clinical judgement
Assess and evaluate student learning providing feedback in a timely manner promoting student success
Facilitate development of clinical reasoning skills, professional identity, and use of effective communication skills while providing safe patient care in the clinical setting
Complete clinical evaluation of student performance weekly, at mid-term and final end of term.
Participate in BCTC clinical instructor orientation and course specific faculty meetings
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate of Science in Nursing with at least two years of clinical practice experience
Unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing with at least two years of clinical practice experience

Pay rates: ADN - $26.75 per hour BSN - $32.10 per hour MSN - $42.80 per hour
