Job Summary
Hopkinsville Community College invites applications for our part-time CDL adjunct faculty pool.
These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed when regular full-time faculty are not available due to increased enrollment, workload, or scheduling: days, evenings, weekends. Classes are face-to-face only.
When a position is available, qualified applicants may be contacted for an interview and asked to submit further documentation.
Job Duties:
Teaching assistant to help with instruction on-the-range and over-the-road activities, and may do tutoring for students as needed. Provides instructions to students in both theory and practice in the particular area of instruction. Maintains classroom order and discipline.
Minimum Qualifications:
Commercial Driver’s License – Associate degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated competencies in commercial transportation. Must hold current Kentucky Class A CDL License. Must have over-the-road CDL driving experience; prefer a minimum of two (2) years. Preference will be given to applicants with experience as a classroom, road and range Class A CDL instructor.
