Job Summary

The Allied Health Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for an Adjunct Instructor. Allied Health programs are EMT/Paramedics, Medical Billing & Coding, Medical Assisting, Medical Laboratory Technician, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Pharmacy Technology, Physical Therapy Assistant, Radiography, Respiratory Care, and Surgical Technology.

Job Duties:

This position will be responsible for:
• Part-time didactic and clinical instruction in the program
• Academic advising for current and potential program students
• Program course and curriculum development
• Internal service to the college via committee participation and engagement as a faculty member
• Continued growth as an instructor via professional development
• Coordination and monitoring of student clinical placements at local healthcare facilities
• Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records according to all JCTC and accreditation policies and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the program coordinator and Dean of Allied Health.

*****This is a pool position, and you will not be contacted until a program need arises.

Degree and certification requirements dependent upon program.
