Title: Criminal Justice Adjunct Instructor 

Salary Range: $655.00 per credit hour

Job Summary

The Behavioral and Social Sciences Division has openings to teach on-line and hybrid sections of Criminal Justice at Jefferson Community and Technical College.

Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach Criminal Justice courses, maintain office hours, participate in student success activities, and utilize a learning management system such as Blackboard.

Please note that this is an adjunct hiring pool. We will contact applicants available for in-person instruction based on enrollment needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice/Criminology/Law and a Master's degree, or a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology/Law. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates who exhibit digital literacy and have experience with a Learning Management System (LMS), such as Blackboard, will be given preference. Ideal candidates will have a good attendance record, demonstrated experience in teaching and student engagement, and the ability to work effectively in an academic environment making frequent contact with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
