Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications for part-time/temporary Chemistry faculty in the following: Mathematics, Natural and Social Science department. Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.
Provide in-person learner-centered instruction in the discipline.
Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice.
Maintenance and care of classrooms and training materials.
Keep abreast of changes in the respective field and help keep the program updated.
Master’s degree in Chemistry (or related field) plus 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
Previous experience teaching online, in-person, or hybrid courses is preferred.
Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
