Owensboro Community and Technical College is hiring a part-time temporary Clinical Nursing Instructor for our Associate Degree Nursing program. The candidate will support various clinical rotations for several healthcare facilities, including acute care, gerontology, and out-patient within the surrounding areas of Daviess, Ohio, Hancock, and McLean counties. This position provides coverage in our Nursing Practice I (Fundamentals), and Medical-Surgical Department courses. Day and evening position may be available. We will only contact applicants as needed for assignments.
Job Duties:
Provide in-person learner-centered instruction.
Provide instruction to student in both theory and practice.
Remain abreast of changes in nursing and healthcare to ensure evidence-based practice.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (must obtain MSN degree within 10 years of hire). OR
Associate Degree in Nursing (must be currently pursuing BSN or higher and obtain a MSN degree within 10 years of hire).
Two years work experience as a Registered Nurse (active, unencumbered license in KY or a compact state with multi-state privileges) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred.
