Job Summary
Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker II to work primarily second shift at our the Prestonsburg campus.
Job Duties:
• Performs daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways and offices including dusting, removing trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming and stocking soap and paper towel dispensers.
• Performs daily cleaning and maintenance of restrooms.
• Performs minor repairs and assists with major repairs
• Performs dry walling, painting, installing ceiling tiles, minor plumbing
• Assemble and deliver furniture and set up for events.
• Ground maintenance including mowing, weed-eating, picking up trash and snow removal.
• Performs floor maintenance including carpet cleaning, seeping, mopping, stripping, waxing and buffing.
• May have to travel to assist at other campuses or work other shifts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
1 to 2 years Experience Preferred.
