WKCTC is a comprehensive community college that provides excellence in teaching a learning, promotes student success, and supports economic development.
Job Duties:
- Assist with division documents, office tasks, administration, and every day operations to include Applied Technologies programs
- Assist division faculty with documents/forms, syllabi, tests, evaluation materials, and travel related paperwork
- Update all Applied Technologies webpages, flyers, and academic plans as needed
- Prepare purchase requests, purchase and pick up supplies, and monitor and audit budgets for Applied Technologies Division programs. Includes aiding in grant purchases as needed.
- Assist all Applied Technologies division Faculty and Staff with direction for following KCTCS procedures and guidelines
- Assist with annual Equipment Inventory for the Division
- Prepare minutes of meetings (both Division and Advisory Committee), and reports
- Proctor student exit exams in fall and spring terms. Enter student data and/or certification information into PeopleSoft
- In coordination with other academic divisions, faculty, staff, and students incorporating division Outlook Calendars
- Help with special projects such as Safety Committee, Designated Building Personnel, assigned committees, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree, or high school diploma/GED and 2 years or related experience
- Distinguished communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Work, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and the ability to think independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable in PeopleSoft and DSS
