Job Summary

ECTC is seeking a highly motivated Donor Relations Officer to support the fundraising efforts of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and the ECTC Foundation through donor engagement, stewardship, annual giving, and relationship management. This position develops meaningful relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, alumni, retirees, faculty, staff, volunteers, and community members while implementing stewardship strategies that inspire continued investment in the College's mission. The Officer serves as an ambassador for ECTC, demonstrating the impact of philanthropy through exceptional communication, ethical fundraising practices, and outstanding customer service.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Fundraising & Relationship Management
• Develop and implement fundraising and donor engagement strategies to increase philanthropic support.
• Manage a portfolio of individual, corporate, and foundation donors and prospects through all stages of the donor lifecycle, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal.
• Identify opportunities to increase giving and deepen engagement through personalized outreach.
Stewardship & Donor Relations
• Design and implement comprehensive stewardship programs that recognize donor generosity and demonstrate the impact of charitable giving.
• Support fundraising and stewardship reporting by collaborating with faculty and staff to gather information on the impact of philanthropic support for reports, presentations, and donor communications.
• Plan and coordinate donor cultivation and recognition events, alumni activities, and other engagement opportunities.
Gift Administration
• Facilitate the collection, preparation, and maintenance of gift documentation, including fund setup materials, gift agreements, and supporting records, to support financial administration, stewardship, and compliance with donor intent.
• Monitor pledge fulfillment and communicate with donors regarding outstanding commitments.
• Maintain accurate constituent records, gift documentation, and activity reports within Raiser's Edge.
Communications & Collaboration
• Develop fundraising and stewardship communications in partnership with the College's marketing and communications team.
• Serve as a resource for faculty and staff regarding philanthropic initiatives and gift-funded projects.
• Represent ECTC and the Foundation at college and community events, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Support all Advancement and Foundation initiatives as assigned by the Vice Chancellor of Advancement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related work experience, or equivalent.

• Knowledge of Excel and graphic design preferred.
• Prior fundraising or nonprofit leadership experience preferred.
