    Salary Range: $655.00 per credit hour

    Job Summary

    • The Humanities Division has openings to teach Hybrid, Online or on campus sections of FYE 105 at multiple Jefferson Campuses.

    Job Duties:

    • The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback.
      Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • While a Master’s Degree is the preferred credential for teaching FYE, the Implementation Team recognizes that there are those who may have a great deal of experience and knowledge in regards to the content of the FYE course. Therefore, the following Bachelor’s Plus credentials may also be approved:
      - Bachelor’s Degree in Education
      - Bachelor’s Degree in any area plus experience teaching GEN 100 or GEN 102 or other FYE-type courses
      - Bachelor’s Degree in any area plus experience with college student success/student services processes – i.e. advising, student support services, counseling
