Job Summary
This person will assist in orientation sessions in Boone and Kenton County Adult Education for the GED program. They will track student progress and meet one-on-one to help fast-track students complete the GED. They will also attend outside events to help promote the GED program. This person will be required to work on-campus to fulfill these duties. They must also score a 12.9 on the Reading and Math TABE and pass all GED Ready Test Exams.
Job Duties:
Knowledgeable of reading, writing, and GED-level Math instructional strategies.
Administer and interpret TABE and GED Ready Test results to make an appropriate plan for each GED student.
Assist with entering data from orientation as well as student data during non-orientation times.
Meet with students one-on-one as needed to help complete the GED in any subject area.
Attend community events to help advertise the GED program.
Prep all orientation materials (already been created by program staff.)
Perform other duties as assigned

Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word).
BA in related field and 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
