Job Summary

Somerset Community and Technical College is accepting applications for an Industrial Maintenance Technology Instructor.

Job Duties:

Plans and carries out instructional activities and prepares learning materials for (IMT) Industrial Maintenance Technology Programs at London and Somerset campuses. Provides instruction to students using both theory and hands-on lab activities. Keeps abreast of technical changes in the field and keeps program updated to comply with current industry standards. Participation in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and technical expertise in the Industrial Maintenance field is required. Instructor will also be responsible for student advising, internal, and external service activities. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and four years of related work experience in Industrial Maintenance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate Degree from a regionally accredited college or university, four years of related work experience in Industrial Maintenance and working knowledge of circuits, rotating machinery, motor controls, fluid power, industrial robotics, PLCs, and mechanical power transmission.
