Job Summary

The Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education Program in the Behavioral Social Sciences Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings to teach online or hybrid classes.

Job Duties:

The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for course work, communication, and feedback. May meet once or twice a week depending on class mode. Online classes are currently asynchronous.

Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Eighteen graduate hours in the teaching discipline and a Master’s degree, or a Master’s degree in the teaching discipline required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer candidates who have experience with learning management systems.
