Job Summary
The Nuclear Workforce Outreach Coordinator supports outreach, recruitment, and partnership development efforts that connect individuals, employers, schools, and community organizations to nuclear workforce training opportunities at WKCTC. This position works alongside the Technical Training Program Designer and regional partners to promote training programs and strengthen workforce pipelines into nuclear energy, advanced manufacturing, and related industries.
Job Duties:
• Supports outreach and recruitment efforts for nuclear workforce training programs by promoting career pathways and training opportunities to prospective students, employers, and community partners through employer visits, community presentations, workforce events, and informational sessions.
• Builds and maintains relationships with nuclear industry employers, suppliers, workforce agencies, and community organizations while collaborating with the Technical Training Program Designer to ensure outreach strategies align with current and emerging training initiatives.
• Partners with WKCTC marketing staff to promote nuclear workforce programs across digital, print, and community channels, and participates in workforce advisory meetings and industry engagement events supporting regional nuclear workforce development.
• Assists with participant recruitment and engagement for nuclear workforce training programs while maintaining accurate records of outreach activities, employer engagement, and recruitment efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Workforce Development, Education, or a related field.
Experience in outreach, recruitment, community engagement, or workforce program support.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with workforce development programs or industry partnerships.
• Knowledge of regional workforce needs related to energy, manufacturing, or technical industries.
• Experience supporting recruitment for workforce training or education programs.
