Job Summary

The Nursing Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a Pediatric Nursing Instructor.

Job Duties:

This position will be responsible for full-time didactic and clinical instruction in the ADN Program. Other duties include but are not limited to:
• Academic advising
• Course and curriculum development
• Internal and external community service
• Educational leadership and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nursing with at least five years’ experience in Nursing (two of which should be in Nursing education at or above the ADN level) is preferred.  

Preferred Qualifications:

Pediatric experience preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Preference will be given to qualified applicant with previous teaching experience, knowledge of nursing at the associate degree level and leadership experience. This position requires the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, which consist of frequent contact with a diverse constituency of students, faculty, staff, and the public.
