Job Summary
This is a full-time, ten-month, term contract, non-tenure track, faculty appointment available in the Associate Degree Radiography Program in the Allied Health Division. This position is currently located on the Leestown campus. The program is scheduled Monday – Friday from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. The position requires flexibility of scheduling which will include both on-campus and online classes.
Job Duties:
Instruction in didactic, lab and clinical courses.
Student evaluations and assessments.
Supports the Program Coordinator to help assure effective program operation.
Assists program faculty in periodic review and revision of all didactic, lab, and clinical course materials.
Maintain current knowledge of the discipline and educational methodologies through continuing professional development.
Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress. Assist in developing and maintaining collaborative relationship with administration and other departments of college, related clinical facilities and community agencies to promote an optimal learning environment.
May perform routine clinical visits; fill out clinical visits report form(s) and present to the Program Coordinator of the radiography.
Participate in Area and Division meetings.
Serve on Division, College, and System Committees.
Participate in Community Services.
Assist the Program faculty in programs specialized accreditation process.
Assist in establishing new clinical sites as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of clinical experience and work experience to equal 2 or more years.
ARRT Certification (Radiography)
Kentucky State License (Radiography)
Meets JRCERT qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in any field or current enrollment in a master’s degree program.
