Job Summary

Hazard Community & Technical College invites applications for the position of Senior Administrative Assistant. The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the President and Advancement offices.

Job Duties:

Duties will include, but not be limited to;
Effectively manage the President’s schedule to provide the most strategic and efficient use of the President’s time at meetings and events, and to ensure that he/she is appropriately briefed for all occasions.
Assist the Advancement office with support of correspondence, bank reconciliation for HICF, scholarships, fundraising events and alumni database.
Manages administrative and confidential support for the President through operational and financial activities, which includes communications, budgeting, and workflow.
Assist with organizing internal and external events led by President’s office.
Effectively manage the President’s correspondence, ensuring prompt responses or follow through on requests for decision and action. Review communications prepared by others for the President’s signature.
Maintain appropriate office supplies and prepare purchase requisitions for supplies as well as appropriate college memberships in various organizations.
Monitor, coordinate, all expenditures from the President’s budget.
Maintain the President's travel arrangements and itinerary.
Serve as the Board Secretary providing board packets and observing the secretary role conducted in the HCTC Board of Directors meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications are an Associate's Degree plus three year's related experience, or equivalent.
