Job Summary
A full-time Wellness Coach will provide wellness management and student services to facilitate a cohort of Allied Health and Nursing student’s completion of educational, career, and overall health goals. This is a grant funded position to support the overall wellness of Allied Health and Nursing students at BCTC.
Job Duties:
Work with and maintain a cohort of 200 Allied Health and Nursing students to create a personalized plan for each to support student persistence, retention, credential completion, and/or successful transfer or career entry.
Provide an inclusive and supportive environment for all students, offering regular communication with students, staff, and faculty.
Provide ongoing and individualized academic coaching for students to identify personal, technology, and academic barriers and create a plan to overcome barriers and reach established goals.
Assist students with navigating both college services and community services and resources. This will include providing interventions and workshops on topics such as growth mindset and time-management to assist students in academic goal achievement.
Participate in outreach campaigns targeted at potential cohort populations throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (Human Services, Social Work, Counseling or related field) and two years of related experience or equivalent
