Tuition Waiver

All Colleges within KCTCS offer tuition waivers to employees, spouses and dependent children (age 23 or less, as defined by federal financial aid guidelines) for up to 18 credit hours per year (six hours in the fall, spring, and summer) per person at any KCTCS college.

KCTCS employees receive 7.5 hours of paid time off to volunteer per Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). Spend your day-off volunteering and wearing your College's gear making our community a better place!

All Colleges within KCTCS observe a two-week institutional closing beginning in December, which will include the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Senior Ready to Work Coordinator (Student Support Specialist III)

SNAP E&T System Coordinator (Academic Advisor III)

Work with SNAP E&T participants enrolled in, or seeking enrollment, in: 1) KCTCS certificate, diploma, and Associate of Applied Science credential programs; 2) Kentucky Adult Education certificate or diploma programs; or 3) KCTCS non-academic Workforce Solution short term training programs. The position will monitor specific grant funder software to process referrals and update the progress of participants, provide academic and career guidance, and report outcomes to the grant funder. The position will be responsible for deciphering the multiple types of SNAP E&T participants, grant funder participant requirements, and working with other grant funder contractors to report participation.

Workforce Alignment Strategist (Workforce Liaison IV)

Advances systemwide workforce alignment efforts by partnering with education, industry, and government stakeholders to inform in-demand program development in collaboration with leadership across the system. The position works across departments, colleges and external partners to build qualitative feedback infrastructure from the ground up, aggregating employer input on emerging labor market needs. The role provides strategic expertise on workforce trends, employer needs, and labor market demands to inform the development, alignment, and continuous improvement of in-demand programs, including Workforce Pell, that support student success and regional economic growth.

Executive Assistant (Executive Assistant II)

The Executive Administrative Assistant to the Senior Vice President, External Affairs provides high-level administrative support to the SVP, ensuring the efficient operation of the division. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized individual who can handle complex tasks, manage confidential information, and interact with a wide range of stakeholders. The assistant will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports and presentations, and assisting with day-to-day operations in the External Affairs division. Assist the External Affairs team with managing calendars, processing documents, managing travel, facilitate obtaining signatures on relevant documents, preparing project documents and reports, budget management, representing the SVP, External Affairs at meetings when needed, taking minutes at various groups/meetings, and other duties as requested. The assistant shall also support the SVP, External Affairs in collecting and preparing documents for Board Meetings, President’s Leadership Team meetings, Executive Leadership Team meetings, and legislative meetings. The assistant will work collaboratively with the Senior Executive Administrator to the President and the Executive Assistants for the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Financial Module Coordinator (Financial System Specialist III)

The position’s primary purpose is to serve as the first line of support for the PeopleSoft Financials modules (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Billing, Budgeting, General Ledger, Lease Administration, Procurement to Payment, Supplier Onboarding, Supplier Contract Management, and Travel/Expense). This position serves as a generalist triaging PeopleSoft Financials user issues, conducting testing, and documenting solutions. This position reports to and assists the Director of Financials Module System and works closely with the Administrator, Financials System on any number of PeopleSoft Financials support functions. The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. The position must be able to analyze and solve problems, have knowledge of and understand organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures to ensure functionality of module applications are delivered and operate as expected.
