This position assists students with a variety of academic, professional, and personal support services designed to help them overcome academic and non-academic barriers, successfully navigate college processes, and develop the skills and resources needed to support retention and graduation.

ECTC is seeking a Communications Instructor with the ability and desire to teach General Education oral communication courses including COM181, COM252.and any other related courses. This position will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for student guidance-advising activities, internal and institutional service, external and community service, professional development activities, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, working with a diverse population, and serving the community and technical college mission. The assignment period is a full-time, 10-month (August-May) position.
