Job Summary

This is a part time, adjunct appointment in the Skilled Trades Division. The position requires flexibility of scheduling.



**This posting will remain open to retain a pool of qualified applicants. 

Job Duties:

  1. Teach Medium/Heavy Duty Diesel Curriculum classes in electricity, engine repair, hydraulics, fluid power, power trains, steering/suspension and brakes.
  2. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Two or more years of verifiable work experience related to the field
  • Appropriate ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Diesel Certifications or demonstrated competencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in subject area and three to five years of verifiable work experience related to the field.
  • ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Master Certification.

Assist the External Affairs team with managing calendars, processing documents, managing travel, facilitate obtaining signatures on relevant documents, preparing project documents and reports, budget management, representing the SVP, External Affairs at meetings when needed, taking minutes at various groups/meetings, and other duties as requested. The assistant shall also support the SVP, External Affairs in collecting and preparing documents for Board Meetings, President’s Leadership Team meetings, Executive Leadership Team meetings, and legislative meetings. The assistant will work collaboratively with the Senior Executive Administrator to the President and the Executive Assistants for the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
