Salary Range: $1,700 - $3,000 per 3 credit hrs

Job Summary

Deliver instruction in HVAC topics such as system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Provide hands-on training in lab/shop environments using industry-standard tools and equipment.

Job Duties:

• Deliver instruction in HVAC topics such as system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Provide hands-on training in lab/shop environments using industry-standard tools and equipment
• Develop and/or follow established course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials
• Assess student learning through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of equipment
• Participate in departmental meetings and training as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in HVAC or related field, with 4 years of related work experience, or BS in a related technical field and 2 years of work experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge, experience, or evidence of a commitment to inclusivity and excellence in teaching methodologies that effectively engage our diverse student population. The candidate should have experience with instructional technologies, including presentation software and learning management systems (i.e., Blackboard). Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency with technology and written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
