Job Duties:

Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilizing our learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback.
Must possess a strong commitment to student learning and will be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
Demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications for each adjunct position in the Career and Technical Division are an Associates degree in relevant field and two to five years work experience or equivalent.
Some programs require additional certifications/licensure.
Applicants should possess excellent computer skills and communication/presentation skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience

ECTC is seeking a Communications Instructor with the ability and desire to teach General Education oral communication courses including COM181, COM252.and any other related courses. This position will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for student guidance-advising activities, internal and institutional service, external and community service, professional development activities, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses.
