Job Summary
Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Financial Aid Office. This position will provide assistance to students in all areas of financial aid processing. Initial review of applications to begin May 20, 2024.
Job Duties:
Duties to include, but not be limited to:
• Provide assistance in all areas of financial aid to students attending any campus of HCTC. Assistance includes but not limited to walk-in, telephone and email requests for services in areas of application, file completion, awarding, disbursement and resolution of any financial aid related issues.
• Work with the HCTC Business Office, HCTC Development Office and HCTC Student Services to complete the data entry and posting of any institutional and external scholarships, 3rd party payments and waivers to student accounts.
• Generate, review and monitor student refund reports on a weekly basis.
• Completion of forms submitted by students from 3rd Party or Outside Agencies requesting information with the purpose of making awards.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma plus 1-3 years related experience or equivalent.
