Job Summary

ECTC is seeking a dynamic Business Instructor to teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester. Teaching duties include the creation and delivery of course content, using Blackboard for communication and feedback, course design, and student outcome assessment. Emphasis on student success and retention through regular office hours, student advising, internal service/committee work, community service, and professional development. Candidates must possess a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to the community and technical college mission. Courses may be taught at all ECTC campuses (Elizabethtown, Leitchfield, & Springfield).

The faculty assignment period is full-time for 10 months (August-May), promotion track.

Job Duties:

This position will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for student guidance-advising activities, internal and institutional service, external and community service, professional development activities, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

The position requires a Masters level degree in business (MBA) or higher.  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with both face-to-face and online teaching is preferred.
• Experience in teaching business management courses is preferred.
