Job Summary
Hazard Community and Technical College is accepting applications for the Dual Credit Coordinator (Manager 1 – Student Support) position. The Dual Credit Coordinator supervises the day-to-day operations of dual credit services to help students with unique needs to navigate and succeed in higher education.
Job Duties:
Duties to include but not limited to:
1. Advise dual credit students on course selections and degree requirements while maintaining confidentiality.
2. Serve as the primary liaison with high school counselors, faculty, and administrators to build strong secondary partnerships, align curriculum, and coordinate scheduling.
3. Supervise the day-to-day operations of dual credit staff and provide guidance and direction on dual credit topics.
4. Assist with marketing and outreach initiatives directed at high schools to promote dual credit opportunities, including hosting or participating in orientation events, and provide enrollment support to dual credit staff.
5. Coordinate the application and management of dual credit and work-ready scholarships, ensuring compliance with business office and tuition requirements.
6. Maintain dual credit operations in accordance with KCTCS and state dual credit regulations, and report program outcomes to stakeholders.
7. Utilize multiple software applications for the maintenance of student data, enrollment, and bio-demographics.
8. Provide leadership and support in planning, managing, developing, and evaluating dual credit strategies, initiatives, and activities.
9. Collaborate and communicate with partnering KCTCS institutions on policies and procedures.
10. Works in collaboration with the student ombudsman to address student complaints and facilitate procedures supporting student outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
