Job Summary

As part of our Workforce Solutions team, WKCTC seeks a skilled and passionate adjunct instructor to teach Machine Tool.

Job Duties:
• Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on instructional activities that develop students' skills in manual and CNC machining. • Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on student progress and attainment. • Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices in machining technology.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Machining Experience: Demonstrated experience in both manual and CNC machining. • CAD/CAM Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software, preferably including Mastercam, SolidWorks, Fusion, BOB-CAD, or other CNC programming platforms. • Electrical Discharge Machining Skills: Proficiency in Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), including both wire and sinker types. • Grinding Skills: Competence with both cylindrical and surface grinding techniques. • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints accurately. • Measuring Instrument Skills: Familiarity with various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar precision instruments. • Computerized Measuring Machines: Proficiency with computerized measuring machines (e.g., Mitutoyo, Zeiss, Brown & Sharp, Starrett). • Experience: Ideally, 1 O or more years of hands-on experience in machining, with a track record of success in training or mentoring others.
