Job Summary

  • Madisonville Community College is seeking applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas:
    • Biology
    • Chemistry
    • Mathematics
    • Physics

Job Duties:

  • Part-Time instruction.
  • To become proficient in multiple delivery methods including face-to-face day and evening, hybrid, accelerated, and online course modalities and may require travel to multiple campuses or teaching sites.
  • Possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.
    Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilizing our learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree in teaching discipline or a Master’s degree that includes at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline. Community college teaching experience is preferred. The successful applicant must possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.

Simulation Inventory & Equipment Assistant

HealthForce Kentucky (HFK) in collaboration with Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) is seeking applications for our Simulation Inventory & Equipment Assistant which supports the daily inventory, equipment, supply, and operational needs of HFK’s simulation programs. This position maintains accurate inventory records in the SHELF inventory management system, organizes simulation equipment and supplies, fulfills inventory requests from the Simulation team, and coordinates equipment warranty and repair processes. This is primarily an on-site position with occasional local, regional, or overnight travel that may occur when the employee is participating in Simulation Operations cross-training or supporting mobile/off-site simulation activities. Travel frequency will be based on program needs and assigned responsibilities. This role is intended to provide an entry point into healthcare simulation. Employees who demonstrate strong performance, technical aptitude, reliability, and competency may be well positioned to apply for future full-time Simulation Technician or Simulation Operations positions as opportunities become available. Cross training or employment in this position does not guarantee promotion or transfer. Continuation of this position is contingent upon the availability of funding.
