Job Summary

Big Sandy Community & Technical College is seeking a Workforce Liaison III. The Workforce Liaison III plays a vital role in expanding access to workforce training and community education opportunities. This position serves as a key connector between students, employers, and internal teams—ensuring that courses are effectively promoted, strategically developed, and aligned with regional workforce needs.

Job Duties:

• Coordinate and manage enrollment for workforce and community open-enrollment courses, including accurate data         entry in systems such as PeopleSoft and Salesforce.
• Partner with the Marketing Department to promote course offerings through social media, digital platforms, flyers and     community outreach.
• Identify, develop, and schedule training and community education courses based on employer, partner and regional        workforce needs.
• Track and document the depth and scope of engagement activities with employers and partners using CRM and               intranet platforms.
• Represent Workforce Solutions and college at community meetings, employer events, and partner engagements.
• Provide high-quality customer service to prospective students, employers, and community partners.
• Support instructors and enrollment processes for Workforce Solutions programs.
• Assist in continuous improvement efforts through data tracking, reporting, and process enhancements.
• Perform other duties in support of Workforce Solutions initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in workforce development, education, marketing, business, or a related field and a minimum of 4      years of related experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enrollment coordination, student services, or workforce/community education programs
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, Salesforce, or other CRM systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience supporting marketing efforts, including social media promotion
• Ability to analyze and track data related to enrollment and partner engagement
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with employers and community partners
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative
• Familiarity with regional or rural workforce needs is a plus
• Experience using Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration tools
