Tuition Waiver

All Colleges within KCTCS offer tuition waivers to employees, spouses and dependent children (age 23 or less, as defined by federal financial aid guidelines) for up to 18 credit hours per year (six hours in the fall, spring, and summer) per person at any KCTCS college.

Community Service Day

KCTCS employees receive 7.5 hours of paid time off to volunteer per Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). Spend your day-off volunteering and wearing your College's gear making our community a better place!

Institutional Close

All Colleges within KCTCS observe a two-week institutional closing beginning in December, which will include the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Clinical Laboratory Instructor- Registered Nursing (In-Person Montgomery Campus)

Maysville Community and Technical College is seeking a full-time, 10-month, term contract position to serve the Mt. Sterling Campus for a CLINICAL LABORATORY INSTRUCTOR-Registered Nursing. The Clinical/Laboratory Instructor and Faculty member supports student learning through the facilitation of clinical, laboratory, simulation, didactic and practicum experiences. The instructor collaborates with nursing faculty to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing education that meets the standards of the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and Maysville Community and Technical College. The Clinical Laboratory Instructor is responsible for promoting student achievement of course and program student learning outcomes through supervision, evaluation, remediation, clinical instruction, simulation, and laboratory-based learning experiences. The position reports directly to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Nursing.

Practical Nursing Instructor Maysville (OPEN UNTIL FILLED)

As an instructor for the Practical Nursing Program and faculty member of MCTC, the primary responsibility is the implementation of set curriculum regarding instruction and instructional activities as well as preparation of learning materials for special study. This position is on the Maysville campus. Travel between campuses may be occasionally required.

Adjunct-Nursing Assistant Skills Instructor

This temporary, part-time position is used to fill classroom vacancies as needed: days, evenings, weekends and/or online. Nursing Assistant Skills I instructor will be responsible for classroom lecture, supervising students in the college laboratory as well as clinical site locations associated with the requirements of NAA100 Nursing Assistant Skills I curriculum.

Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying and Mapping Program Adjunct (Part Time Instructor)

Maysville Community and Technical College is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct positions in Civil Engineering Technology, with a focus on Surveying and Mapping, at any of its campus locations. This position may include supporting and/or leading field-based instruction associated with surveying courses and labs. Responsibilities include assisting with hands-on field exercises, operating and maintaining surveying equipment, and supporting student learning in both classroom and outdoor environments. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in civil engineering technology, surveying, or a related field. Assignments may include on-campus, in-person instruction and field/lab-based activities, with the potential for online instruction as needed. This is not a remote position.
