Job Summary
The Career and Technical Division at Somerset Community College is seeking applications for part-time instructors to teach in-person Computerized Manufacturing and Machining (CMM) courses.
Job Duties:
Inspire and educate students through engaging, hands-on instruction in CMM courses.
Deliver face-to-face lessons that align with course objectives and industry standards, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Prepare instructional materials and assessments that promote student success and skill development.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and guidance to help learners achieve their goals.
Stay current with industry trends and technologies, integrating relevant updates into course content.
Minimum Qualifications:
Adjunct positions within the Career and Technical Division require a minimum of an associate degree in a relevant field, along with two to five years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong proficiency in computer applications and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience, in addition to the required education and professional background, is considered an asset.
