Job Summary
This is a twelve-month, full-time grant-funded staff appointment in the Career Services Center Office. The purpose of this position is to provide direct support to the Title III Strengthening Institutions Grant through coordination and delivery of administrative and budgetary support to career services projects.
Job Duties:
1. Provide administrative and budgetary support for the Career Services Center
2. Performs front office functions such as greeting visitors, answering phones, distributing mail, etc.
3. Provide guidance and support to staff
4. Make expenditures directly to vendors for items needed in projects within the unit
5. Create and secure signatures for BA50’s for food/refreshment purchases
6. Run reports for ProCard statement reports each month for Career Services, secure signatures, and turn into the purchasing department
7. Create Career Fairs in Campus CE
8. Assist with submitting help tickets for various needs within the area
9. Maintain events calendar and ensure all career services events are added
10. Provides administrative support, monthly and yearly reporting (and as needed) to the Director of Career Services
11. Performs general office support duties such as preparing correspondence, both written and electronic,
assist with report generation, prepare bulk mailings, etc.
12. Manages room scheduling process for internal and external groups
13. Respond to student/client issues and concerns that affect the department and problem solves
for solutions
14. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and one-year related customer service experience

• Associates degree and/or three years of related customer service experience
