Job Summary
Student will assist the Career Services staff with daily work such as general office duties, outreach, communication, and other duties as assigned.
The Federal Work Study program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS. Job Duties:
Performing general office tasks, including filing, answering phones, and managing departmental email
Welcoming and assisting visitors in the Career Services department
Supporting engagement efforts through email communication and accurate spreadsheet data entry
Entering and updating student, employer, and event data in internal tracking systems and spreadsheets
Assisting with event coordination and summer camp activities
Conducting classroom visits to promote Career Services resources and offerings
