Job Summary

Jefferson Community and Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for the role at the Bullitt County Campus. This position provides opportunities to work with internal departments and secondary education institutions with a focus on supporting dual credit students’ success. The department is a team-led, high-functioning, student-focused environment.

Job Duties:

Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Serve as support to the Bullitt Campus Director
• Provide administrative support including but not limited to completing college paperwork for all steps in the purchasing process, room reservations, maintenance requests and related event requests.
• Develop and co-create educational programming and activities across the Bullitt campus that promote growth in social and cultural awareness, leadership skills, personal development, and service while fostering a sense of belonging through engaging initiatives that empower students to develop as leaders and active, engaged citizens.
• Serve as the primary contact for the Dual Credit Office, overseeing all Bullitt County Public Schools dual credit classes, enrollment, and pathways. Support the development of aligned CTE pathways and coordinate communication and efforts with the school system regarding Dual Credit courses.
• Primary dual credit responsibility includes the complete enrollment cycle for dual credit general and technical education classes for Bullitt County Public Schools. The enrollment cycle consists of but is not limited to coordinating visits to Bullitt County Public Schools system, facilitating class requests for on campus and online classes, student advising, student enrollment, billing inquiries and ensuring final grades are posted.
• Administer all college placement assessments at the Bullitt Campus while communicating directly with testers and students about testing policies, rules, and procedures.
• Participation in committees, work groups, and professional development activities
• Collaborate with the marketing office on communications, social media advertisements and requesting Jefferson promotional material for event guests as needed.
• Occasional evenings are required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree (related field), and one-year related experience, or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Bachelor’s degree (related field), and one-year related experience, or equivalent. Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
Preference extended to candidates with strong:
Computer literacy, presentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to work supportively in a culturally diverse environment of students, faculty, staff, and the community
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly focused team environment.
Positive attitude with community/student/partner-centered focus.
Experience in event planning and/or project management and managing budgets.
Ability to engage colleagues and partners virtually.
