Title: Part-Time Grant Administrative Assistant

Salary Range: $19.00 - $20.00, based on experience

Contract Term Length: Not Applicable

Standard Hours: up to 24 hours per week

Work Location: On-Site

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Part-Time Grant Administrative Assistant to support our Team Launch Program Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the Program Manager and other team members to assist with the administrative tasks related to grant reporting, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in grant administration within the non-profit or academic sectors.

Job Duties:

Administrative Support:
o Provide administrative support to the Program Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
o Maintain organized records of all grant-related documents, including but not limited to proposals, contracts, and reports.
o Assist with the preparation and submission of grant proposals, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
o Client follows up and detail-orientated case notes for grant documentation purposes

Grant Management:
o Help monitor grant-funded projects to ensure compliance with funding requirements and deadlines.
o Assist in preparing and submitting progress and final reports to funders.
o Track and report on grant expenditures and budget compliance.

Research and Coordination:
o Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information for grant applications and reports.

Communication:
o Maintain effective communication with grantors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
o Assist in drafting correspondence and other written materials related to grants.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Associate’s (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, Non-Profit Management, Social Work) preferred.
- Previous administrative experience, particularly in a grant administration or non-profit setting, is a plus.
 

Additional Skills Requested:

o Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
o Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Ability to work with diverse population
