Job Duties:
Provide online, classroom and lab instruction in competencies for welding and cutting processes in Oxy-Fuel Systems, Shielded Metal Arc, Gas Tungsten Arc and Gas Metal Arc.
These duties include the evaluation & supervision of adults in custody within a state correctional facility, working collaboratively with faculty and staff and completing professional development requirements.
Professional Development will include a minimum two-week Kentucky Department of Corrections training course
This position will work at the location of and with the population of the Northpoint Training Center, 710 Walter Reed Road, Burgin, KY.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree AND 3 years related work experience OR American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Educator (CWE) OR Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) AND 3 years related work experience OR Kentucky Department of Transportation or industry equivalent welding certification AND 5 years related work experience.
