Salary Range: $3415 Monthly

Contract Term Length: 10 Months

Job Summary

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Associate Degree Nursing Instructor.

Job Duties:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:
• Teaching approximately 15-20 contact hours per week per semester in the classroom, skills lab and/or clinical setting
• Maintaining weekly office hours
• Advising Students
• Participating on college or system committees

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related healthcare field (Master’s preferred).
• Nurse faculty in a practical nurse program shall have a minimum of an associate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited college or university. (Bachelor’s preferred, educational plan required for obtaining BSN).
• The nurse faculty shall hold a temporary work permit or a current unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. 
• The nursing faculty shall document a minimum of two (2) years full time or equivalent experience as a registered nurse within the immediate past five (5) years and shall have and maintain expertise in the clinical or functional area of responsibility. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred experience is Master's degree in Nursing and prior teaching and elearning course development.
