Job Summary
The Human Resources Partner III serves as a HR Generalist / Compensation Analyst, supporting the Human Resources function for System Office and KCTCS Colleges.
Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.
KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.
Job Duties:
Compensation
Provides guidance on compensation policies/procedures and manages position requests and reclassifications using OnBase records retention system.
Conducts equity reviews, analyzes salary survey data (CUPA-HR, etc.), and benchmarks salaries.
Uses Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs), Compensation Software, and HRIS (PeopleSoft) for salary modeling, costing, and reporting.
Prepares data-driven classification and salary recommendations by evaluating job descriptions, qualifications, and survey matches.
Participates in salary surveys, updates organization charts, and supports HR dashboards.
Performs audits, position management, and enters electronic routing forms for supplemental pay.
Generalist Functions
Assists with recruitment and onboarding, including job postings, credential reviews, search processes, and new hire paperwork/orientation.
Advises employees on HR policies, background checks, FMLA, and general employment guidelines.
Supports additional HR generalist duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science or a related field and three (3) years relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science or a related field and four (4) years relevant experience or equivalent.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
Additional Skills Requested:
• Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data modeling).
• Experience with salary survey data analysis and compensation benchmarking (CUPA-HR, Mercer, etc.).
• Familiarity with HRIS systems (PeopleSoft preferred) for position management, reporting, and audits.
• Ability to analyze and interpret job descriptions, salary structures, and market trends to support compensation decisions.
