Job Summary

Maysville Community and Technical College is now inviting applications for the position of Industrial Maintenance Technology Instructor at the Maysville Campus. The initial term contract is for a ten-month contract. The role involves teaching 15 credit hours per semester, planning instructional activities, advising students and maintaining training equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Industrial Maintenance, industry experience, and a commitment to professional development and community service. Assignments will include on-campus and may include online courses.

Job Duties:

-Teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester.
-Plan and carry out instructional activities.
-Provide academic advising and assist with student recruitment, retention, and student outcome assessment.
-Maintain records and report on student progress.
-Keep abreast of technical changes in the field and update the program accordingly.
-Participate in professional development activities, professional growth, and institutional service.
-Engage in various departmental activities, including course development and evaluation, mentoring adjunct faculty, and participation in continuing education/community service.
-Perform maintenance and minor repairs of training equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree in the discipline or related field. 2 years of related work experience

Additional Skills Requested:

High attention to detail, independent, self-motivated, adaptable to fast-paced environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).
