Job Summary
Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) in our Workforce Solutions division is seeking to hire a Master Instructor. This position provides manufacturing training for students, including industry employees and dislocated workers. The focus is to help students learn and master advanced manufacturing skills that lead to credentials, employment, and/or job advancement. Additionally, this position works with team members to develop and deliver customized training for employer partners.
Job Duties:
• Provide interactive, hands-on, skills-based instruction within a flexible learning model. • Track student progress and monitor all student skill activities. • Participate in student and employer recruitment events, student retention activities, and team planning meetings. • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of manufacturing work experience or equivalent. OR • Associate’s degree and eight (8) years of manufacturing work experience or equivalent. OR • High School diploma and ten (10) years of manufacturing work experience.
