Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist II (Workforce Operations Specialist) position serves the primary responsibility for tech support and troubleshooting for the non-credit registration software (Campus CE) and customer relationship management software (Salesforce) assisting in maintaining the Workforce Solutions website, preparing reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for Workforce Solutions accountability measures, serving as back-up for all financial processing for Workforce Solutions including TRAINS, and providing large project support.

Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.

Job Duties:

Functional lead for the CampusCE to support the colleges daily with any issues related to the software. Correct and/or mitigate issues and assist with related with Accounting Processes including troubleshooting. Provides technical troubleshooting and customer-focused response for issues related to workforce enrollments and data management. Work directly with college staff to identify solutions and resolve issues on the back end of the technical platform. Collaborates with cross-functional staff to address college needs.

Supports financial procedures and processes which include general ledger review/ monitoring journals, and invoice write-off, and more. Completes payment posting for TRAINS payment including manual posting of journals. Provides back-up support for other business operations within workforce and economic development. Prepare and monitor Workforce Solutions accountability reports, work with colleges to correct data entry problems, and assist colleges in resolving any issues and/or discrepancies in accountability measures.

Support on large projects, initiatives, etc. per the supervisor's request. Testing new features and products, assisting with data collection and analysis, Support with Automation building and testing. New-user Set-up, Training, and Access to necessary sites.

Provides training documentation creation and upkeep. Supports team operations through TEAMS site maintenance, listserv maintenance, and continuous improvement. Assist in the maintenance of the training manual for non-credit software and Salesforce CRM. And serving as back-up for all financial processing for Workforce Solutions including TRAINS.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

One (1) year certificate or training from a college or technical school and two (2) years of relevant experience or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Business and/or Information Technology and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
