Job Summary
Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the (Student Only) part-time position of Information Technology Solutions Dept. Assistant. This position assists staff in the IT/Technology Solutions department with equipment and software.
The Federal Work Study program provides funding for part-time employment to qualifying Gateway students. If you have unmet financial need as determined by the most recent FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), are enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at Gateway and have a GPA of at least 2.0, you may be eligible for FWS. Job Duties:
Collect, store, retrieve and update information technology equipment.
Format and evaluate technology to ensure that software and data are configured correctly.
Exercise proper procedures and resolve repetitive problems related to equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain an established work schedule
Be able to learn technical skills and work effectively
Good organizational and time management skills to accomplish tasks
Professional verbal and written communication skills
