Job Summary

Somerset Community College is accepting applications for a Welding Instructor.

Job Duties:

Instruct welding courses, supervise students in the laboratory, and perform other program duties as assigned at the Somerset Main Campus and extended campuses. Other duties include: academic advising, internal service (serving on committees, attendance and participation at meetings), educational leadership, professional development, and external service in the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree and 4 years of industry work experience in the welding field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of industry work experience in the welding field. Experience in robotic welding and automation. The ideal candidate will also possess certifications recognized by industry.
