Job Summary

Maysville Community and Technical College is now inviting applications for the position of Mathematics Instructor at any campus.

The role involves teaching 15 credit hours per semester, planning instructional activities, advising students and maintaining training equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in course management systems and a commitment to professional development and service. Assignments may include on-campus and online courses.

Job Duties:

-Teach the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester.
-Plan and carry out instructional activities.
-Provide academic advising and assist with student recruitment, retention, and student outcome assessment.
-Maintain records and report on student progress.
-Participate in professional development activities, institutional and community service.
-Engage in various departmental activities, including course development and evaluation, and mentoring adjunct faculty.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics.

Additional Skills Requested:

High attention to detail, independent, self-motivated, flexible to fast-paced environments. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word).
