Job Summary

Gateway Community and Technical College is seeking a motivated and professional individual to serve as a Community Engagement Surveyor. This short-term, grant-funded position plays a key role in strengthening the college’s partnerships with local businesses. The Surveyor will work remotely and within the community to gather insights from companies about their current relationship and engagement with Gateway.

Job Duties:

  • Conduct structured surveys with local employers to assess their engagement with Gateway Community and Technical College.
  • Schedule and complete virtual and/or in-person interviews with company representatives.
  • Collect and accurately record responses and feedback using provided survey tools.
  • Summarize and report findings to Workforce Solutions leadership to support strategic planning.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while engaging with community partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in customer service, outreach, or data collection preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Comfortable conducting in-person visits and virtual meetings with employers.
  • Proficient in using basic digital tools and survey software.
